CO2 Fill Station

| High Country Performance 4x4 has offered CO2 fill-ups for years but it had its drawbacks. We filled CO2 bottles by gravity feeding. In order to do this, the bottles needed to be empty and frozen. This usually meant wasted CO2 and a overnight wait. Also, the bottles could "equalize" if the supply was running low. This caused more wasted CO2 and/or partially filled bottles. Realizing CO2 refills are an important service HCP4X4 provides to its customers, we decided to buy a Powertank Fill Station. Now empty bottles can be filled while you wait. Also, top-offs are now possible but require cooling the bottle for 30 minutes and its empty weight must be known. Overfilling a CO2 bottle will blow the safety valve. The valve cannot be reset, it must be replaced. The current price to fill a 10lb CO2 bottle is $16.88. We will recharge good condition, portable bottles of any size. |
