Jason Huss

Jason has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years. Starting with a job at an auto parts store in high school he eventually went on to being a general service tech at Firestone MasterCare, a driver for Standard Parts Corp and a counterman at Mile High Jeep Rebuilders. Jason has been an employee of High Country Performance 4x4 since 2001.

Jason bought his first 4x4 in 1990, a 1978 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. It was not long before it was lifted and upgraded. After the FJ40 followed a 1989 Toyota P/U, a 1976 CJ-7, a 1980 Toyota P/U, a 1992 Jeep XJ, a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 and a 1957 CJ-3B. All of the vehicles were modified in one way or another including three frame-offs! Jason does most of the work his self.

Jason's other hobbies include action shooting sports, snowboarding, playing video games and hanging out with friends.

After working several years as a mechanical engineer, Al decided to take his hobby to the next level and start making money at it.  In 1978 he started working on friends Early Bronco's in his garage and moved the business to a full shop in 1980.  Al moved the shop to its current location in 1985.  He has been the sole owner of HCP4x4 since the beginning.

Brady Lehr

Brady is a CU Alum (Go Buffs!), and has worked in the 4-wheel drive industry since 2000. He has been with HCP4x4 since April 2008.  Brady's background mainly consists of early Jeep's (pre 1986) and rockcrawling.  Brady's first introduction to the 4x4 world was in college.  He bought his first lift kit, put it on in the parking lot at Ft. Lewis College, and the rest is history.

Brady currently owns two Jeeps:1947 CJ-2A and a 1990 Jeep XJ-one is stock and the other is far from it.  His daily driver is a highly modified 2006 Mini Cooper S.

EB's life is 4WD full throttle.  He has worked at HCP4x4 for 11 years, and has been the shop foreman for the majority of his career. 

EB is a man that enjoys life behind the wheel of a jeep.  You can find he and his wife out on the trail almost every weekend, whether it be in Colorado, New Mexico, South Dakota, Utah or California.

Valerie Douglas

Valerie is well known within the motorsports and 4-wheel drive industry through her work with the Stay The Trail program and her photography business.  She is a great advocate for motorized recreation and works hard to keep trails open for everyone to use in Colorado.  Valerie came to High Country Performance 4x4 in mid 2009 and works side by side with Jason on marketing, and with the rest of the sales staff. 

Valerie is by no means a "foo-foo" girl.  She drives a YJ buggy, has rock raced and co-driven in the King of the Hammers race.  She also shoots desert racing photography in Mexico and the USA.

Chuck has worked in the motorized community since 1977, and exclusive to the 4x4 industry since 1985.  After attending the University of New Mexico he received factory training from Dodge, Jeep and General Motors.  Chuck has been at High Country Performance 4x4 since mid 2000.

Erik has been 4-wheeling since he was 13.  Growing up at the base of the Collegiate Peaks he learned how to drive in order to help neighbors feed the livestock in the winter months. 

After graduating from WYO Tech he moved to Denver and has been at High Country Performance 4x4 since 1998.  He enjoys weekends in the mountains with his wife, and occasionally takes out his jeep when he's not on the trails on his dirt bike.
